It's been an adventure already just to get here. Impossible to believe that a few winks from now I'll be red-eye London bound for the Camino de Santiago, le Chemin de St. Jacques, the Camino Frances, the Camino, the Milky Way, The Way. Impossible except for the "to do" and "wrap-up" lists and pendulum-swing flashes of uncontrollable glee and terror.
Already I am eternally grateful to all who have generously, deliberately and inadvertently enriched the path: Loren for his continued guidance, Ruth for her generosity and kindness, Gordon for the backpack, Edward for the advice and passion, Paul and Sandra for the info and encouragement, Jen sweet Jen for her love and Thây. Don for his wondrous poetry and bits of star, Guy the boot toppers are perfect! Sue for Jack Hitt, Robyn for Phil Cousineau; Christine for all the driving, food and good humour, Sylvia and Anson for their hearty love, the fine folks at pilgrimage-to-santiago.com.
