Do you ever have the feeling that something is going to happen to change the way you remember the past? Usually this happens as significant events are unfolding and we are left trying to make sense out of them. Seems we've had so many occurrences this year. Who could have imagined on December 31, 2010 the Arab spring, Japan earthquake/tsunami/nuclear disaster, East Africa famine, Libya, England Riots, the passing of Jack Layton? And now Irene. I hope that, wherever you are, your loved ones are close and safe, that you are not burdened by fear. And for those in strife, that you find the means in the core of your being to see you through with love and grace, you have it in you.
